Gideon Tahan is a seasoned business leader and expert in digital communications, and the founder and CEO of SerVision. His previous cable telephony start-up, Gadline, was sold to COM21 in 1999 for $93 million. Gideon has extensive experience in market penetration strategies and in-depth knowledge of narrowband networks and wireless technologies. Mr. Tahan is on the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee.
As Chief Financial Officer Eitan has extensive experience in business development, financial management and budget planning. He served as the head of consulting and investment banking at Ernst & Young and also worked as a senior consultant at the Cardinal I.G. Consulting Firm, and CEO of the Reidman Group. Eitan is on the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee. The Audit committee has primary responsibility for monitoring the quality of internal control and ensuring that the financial performance is properly measured and reported.
Yaniv manages both purchasing and production for SerVision, and is responsible for the system hardware design of all SerVision products. He has over 15 years of experience designing and developing microcontrollers and systems based on Texas Instruments Digital Signal Processors (DSPs). Prior to joining SerVision in 2003, Yaniv worked as a hardware engineer for two different companies where he was responsible for the design of cable modem systems and optical amplification systems. Yaniv served for three years as a technician in the Israeli Air Force, and holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from the Ariel University Center of Samaria.
Dror brings with him over 20 years of experience in design, development and management of embedded software projects. He specializes in video server development over various platforms, codec development and optimization, media streaming over challenging networks, signal processing, and design of SW/HW systems. Dror joined SerVision in 2003, and also manages the DSP development team. Before joining SerVision he worked for four years at Digital5, a leading manufacturer of MP3 players and home entertainment equipment. Dror has a B.Sc. in mathematics and computer sciences from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Brett oversees SerVision’s Business Development strategies and Sales campaigns for markets outside of Israel. Brett has a professional background in media and public relations, and has held Public Affairs positions on Capitol Hill and at the Embassy of Israel in Washington, DC. In these capacities, he was responsible for lobbying on behalf of the Israeli Government and for spearheading strategic media campaigns for non-governmental US and international political organizations. Brett served for one year at the North American desk of the Israel Defense Forces’ Spokesperson’s Unit prior to joining SerVision in 2007. Brett received his Master’s Degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2006.
Tamir joined SerVision in 2006 after serving in the Israeli Navy where, among other things, he oversaw the migration of the Army’s HR database to the first SAP platform ever used by the Military. Tamir’s early success in Sales in the European and Chinese markets facilitated his promotion to Head of Business Development and then to Managing Director of SerVision Inc., where he manages all of SerVision’s operations in the United States. Tamir is an accomplished business development executive and possesses in-depth understanding of market applications in the security and communications industries.
Ron manages SerVision’s Sales and Marketing department throughout Israel. Prior to joining SerVision, Ron worked at Tadiran Telecom where he successfully established SMB – a new sales division within the company. With years of experience as the Director of Sales in leading companies such as: Pelephone Communications and Rad Bynet Group, Ron is an asset to the SerVision Sales and Marketing Team. Ron holds a B.A in Business Administration & Marketing from The College of Management and a graduate in Computer Engineering from the University of Tel Aviv. In his spare time, Ron lectures on the topic of marketing to students at a local Israeli College.
Gary manages all of SerVision’s business operations in the United Kingdom. Gary is an accomplished, experienced and highly motivated Senior Director with an extensive technical, operational and commercial background. Gary possesses in-depth understanding of market applications in the security and communications sector. He has over 20 years of expertise in the transport security & surveillance industry and has previously worked with some of Europe’s top blue chip companies developing sophisticated integrated systems for UK & European Police intelligence services helping to combat the most sophisticated crimes.
